Which lifting shoe should I choose?
Choose MEGIN if most of your training is heavy squats and powerlifting. The 1.4 in (3.5 cm) heel and rigid sole favor a planted stance under the bar. Choose VENJA if you mix squats and Olympic lifts with lunges, box jumps and conditioning, and want a 1.4 in (3.5 cm) raised heel with a more flexible EVA sole. Start with in-stock colors: MEGIN black or blue, or VENJA black. Neither shoe is designed for running.
FAQ
What is the difference between powerlifting shoes and weightlifting shoes?
Both are lifting shoes with a raised heel for squats and barbell work. Our powerlifting shoe (MEGIN) has a 1.4 in (3.5 cm) heel and a rigid anti-slip sole. Our weightlifting shoe (VENJA) has a 1.4 in (3.5 cm) raised heel and a more flexible EVA sole for mixed training. Both MEGIN and VENJA use the same 1.4 in heel height; the differences are the sole and upper.
Are these good squat shoes?
Yes. Both MEGIN and VENJA are made for squats. Lifters who prioritize heavy, slow squats usually pick MEGIN. Lifters who squat and also do Olympic lifts or mixed sessions usually pick VENJA.
Can I wear them for deadlifts?
Many lifters deadlift in flat shoes or socks because a raised heel changes the starting position. Try both setups and use what feels best for your pull.
How do I find my size?
Measure your foot from heel to the tip of your longest toe and match it to the size chart in each product's photos. Both shoes come in US 7 to 12, with UK and EU sizes on the chart. If you are between sizes, size up.
Is white VENJA available?
White VENJA is currently sold out in all sizes. Black VENJA and both MEGIN colors remain available. Check the product page for live stock by size.
Do they come with a warranty?
Yes. Both shoes ship in a premium shoe box and include a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Free US shipping on orders of $50 or more. Returns within 30 days.
