Mishler's channel has nearly 2 million subscribers, and it's easy to see why: her sequences are smooth and easy to follow, making them ideal for yogis of all levels. She began 2017 with "Revolution," a 31-day series of yoga videos in which she challenges her viewers to practice every day. We're excited to see what Mishler has in store for the rest of the year.

Froning, a CrossFit legend and four-time winner of the “Fittest Man on Earth” title, is the man to see for training advice. His web series, What's Rich Doing?, provides CrossFit plans for people of all fitness levels who want to work out like Froning. It's unclear whether his massive Instagram following stems from fitness advice, baby pictures, or the numerous shirtless shots; suffice it to say, we're all curious.

Fit Bottomed Girls creates content for real women (and men!) who want to live a healthy life without deprivation. Fit Bottomed Girls grew from a blog to a brand, with offshoots for food and moms, a book (The Fit Bottomed Girls Anti-Diet), and a sizable social community, cofounded by Walters and Erin Whitehead (though now operated by Walters and Seymour).

Cohen is all about discovering workouts that can be done anywhere. Strong Is the New Skinny, the fitness expert's most recent book, goes beyond training the body to encourage readers to become stronger physically, mentally, and nutritionally. Cohen's no-nonsense approach to getting healthy has won her many fans, and she appears on shows such as Good Morning America and Dr. Oz on a regular basis. “The only time greatness comes before hustle is in the dictionary,” she says. We can't disagree with that.

Lee would like to be your virtual personal trainer. But that isn't the only thing we know about her. The Eat. Lift. Thrive. movement was founded by an amateur powerlifter and certified strength and conditioning specialist with a Stanford degree in human biology. (When it comes to fitness, this woman knows what she's talking about.) She's also very inspiring—after discovering weightlifting, Lee was able to overcome an eight-year eating disorder.

Rosante exemplifies how living a balanced, healthy lifestyle can be both enjoyable and cost-effective. His pay-what-you-want fitness classes, The People's Bootcamp, were sold out all year, and he gave away a new book of delicious, nutrient-packed smoothie recipes, Super Smoothie Revolution, at the end of 2016. Why? This positive personal trainer genuinely wants to help people, not just celebrities and athletes.

Dalai Lama

The Spiritual Guru:

His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu co-authored a book last year, and it couldn't have come at a better time. The Book of Joy is about finding happiness and peace in a changing, turbulent world, and its success demonstrates how many people listen when the Dalai Lama talks about mental and spiritual health.

Gaskins, who has nearly 2 million Facebook fans, knows how to inspire the masses. What Is Motivation?

Motivation can be defined as "what drives us to maintain or achieve goals." It could even be considered a form of desire.

Things change a little when you look at it that way, at least for many of us. Yes, you should exercise, you need to exercise, and you want to want to exercise, but do you want to exercise?

Maybe for some people—they enjoy the way it feels to exercise. However, for many of us, exercise is thought to have a single end goal—helping you lose weight, look better, get stronger, feel better, be healthy, avoid diabetes, and so on.

That's not the same as wanting to exercise, which is why so many of us hit a brick wall. We set goals, make plans, and perhaps even stick to those plans for a while. However, we may find that our motivation wanes and wonder what we're doing wrong.
